Well, my computer has decided that most of my chat programs, as well as my Windows toolbar, are decorations and don't need to be displayed or work the way they were intended to. Everything I'm running is slower than molasses in January (even if it's not much) and in general I'm so frustrated with the thing I'd like to heave it out a window. I've ordered RAM for it to solve some of the problem, but I have a feeling installing an anti-adware program will need to be step two. We'll see. Right now I'm typing on my mother's computer but I have a feeling that won't last forever.

I've also managed to sell a commission (not the one linked in my other journal here: [link]) and am hoping to sell more short ones in the future so I can have a little something to pay off a new laptop with. That'll be almost $500. I have nothing to write with unless I can cajole my old laptop into loading Windows. The last time I tried, it refused to and since it's over 10 years old now, I left it alone. Word won't load on my desktop because, well, the icon for it disappeared from my screen. Yay.

And while now surely isn't the time for it, I'm having another little 'your writing sucks' voice forming in the back of my head. It just hasn't been my string of days lately.
