I've been tired out of my mind recently. While I've been able to hammer out some things that were annoying me in the past, there's a lot more I have to deal with that I just don't have the energy to. My mind seems more dedicated to having fun at the moment than anything else. I'm going to try and ask for some extra time off of my job within the next week or two so I can get some real time to unwind and not deal with retail crap. 'Novel' has been set aside until some distant future--I'm going to try to read some books sitting on my shelf and collecting dust. Or, I can write some short stories I've had piling up in my brain over the past several months. I need to get back into the writing swing, and even if it comes out crap, it'll be better than doing nothing.
I need some time to breathe. If I'm not working, I'm
thinking about working, and it's slowly driving me insane. If I'm not up to giving advice on your stuff/helping in some other fashion, it's because I've finally burnt out. No means no. Please respect that and not push me to do something, folks. It's not doing me any good right now.

Have you read or heard of Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson? I read it recently (just the first book) and it was good. It seemed like something you'd enjoy.
Anyway, I'm finally getting back to doing art (and the rest of life, heh) so I'm thinking about that character sketch you asked for. It was between Sallust and Istas, I believe. Are there any stock images or anything that you've come across that capture them at all? I'm just curious how you image them. I'm going to read some more of your stories in the nearish future to help inspire me.
